Virtual Mindfulness Workshop for Tweens

Come join Daria Steketee, a certified mindfulness teacher, in a lovely relaxing workshop to learn to relax and refocus. This event is a one hour interactive and experiential introduction to mindfulness and meditation, focusing on awareness of the body to cultivate

relaxation, concentration, and well-being for our 11 to 14 year old kids.

This is the best event to do before finishing up your homework on a Sunday or to make sure the end of your weekend is a relaxing one.

Who is your host for this event ?

Daria Steketee began meditating over 30 years ago In New York City, where she grew up. While practicing in the Buddhist and Yogic traditions, she pursued studies in Comparative Religion, Theatre and Art, at Bryn Mawr College and New York University.

In Paris, she discovered the transformative power of Mindfulness and the desire to share the benefits of this very practical, accessible and profound approach to meditation was born.

A member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association, a graduate of the Mindfulness Training Institute, she is certified to teach this secular approach to meditation in a variety of formats and settings. She currently works one-on-one with teenagers for stress management during the college application process, gives private sessions and adult online and in-person classes in English and French.
