About the Event
The journey to motherhood isn’t always an easy one, following the birth of your beautiful baby your body needs to heal and recover. During this 60-minute class you will gently strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and core, practice empowering asanas/postures and calming breath work and take time to completely relax. This session is ideally for women who have completed their perineal re-education.
What you need: A pregnancy pillow if you have one, or a selection of cushions and pillows, and a yoga mat.

Kate Matthews is a professional dancer and yoga teacher. She completed her 200hr Yoga Alliance Teacher Training in 2018 in Ibiza. She has since competed further trainings including a 50 Hour Yin TT with Gemma Vassallo in 2019 and more recently a Pre and Postnatal TT with Sharon Bales.
Alongside dancing, Kate teaches vinyasa, yin and pre and postnatal yoga. Her recent exploration into pre and postnatal yoga has ignited an inner passion to assist and support women on the most important journey of their lives. Her yoga classes use asana, breath work and relaxation as a means of preparing the mother and baby for birth and she creates a safe space for healing after birth.
