One Day Childbirth Workshop

Message is offering a special one day in-person Childbirth and Early Parenting class that can be partnered with Birthing Circles.  Nicola Thompson, a practicing doula, Message member and volunteer, will be conducting the session. 

We will cover the wonders of physiological labour and birth, oxytocin, natural comfort measures, suppport ideas for partners, connecting as a couple as you transition to parenting your first baby (or adjust to your second or third baby as a growing family).Communicating with your midwife or doctor, birth plans/projects, epidurals, cesarean birth, birth from the baby's perspective, immediate post partum creating a positive experience for mother and baby and the whole family and much more. This class can be taken by itself or along with online circles on topics related to birth. Price is per couple. If your partner is not attending, a friend or family member may attend instead.
