Message Kids Classes : What's it Like Being Bilingual?

Do your children get many opportunities to participate in fun and meaningful educational events in English?  Message is here for you! Led by professionals this class is FREE for members! 

This in-person event will allow children to learn about a different subject each time. This month's topic will be:

 What Does Being Bilingual Mean to Our Kids?

"I have always been concerned about how much info there is for parents about how great being bilingual is, but we never look at it from the kids' point of view. In this workshop, the children will discuss the pros and cons of being bilingual and whether they feel more comfortable in one language or the other. 

I have a brilliant video to show them, a few quiz questions, and I’m working on devising a few mini-games/quizzes based on vocabulary etc.  I want the children to leave feeling relaxed about living with more than one language, that they are not alone and with an awareness that their languages are more of an advantage than a disadvantage." -Derek 

* This class has been adapted for children ages 5 to 10 and will be led by experienced professionals in the Paris area who truly want all children to learn while having fun.

* Children will engage in discussions while they learn and make friends in the process!

* Parents are invited to stay for a drink and meet other parents in a separate part of the café while the kids have their fun.

* This class will be led by Roaming Schoolhouse staff.
