Lunar New Year Arts & Crafts

Gong Xi Fa Cai!! Happy Lunar New Year!!   Lunar New Year is a festival that celebrates the beginning of the new year on the lunar calendar.  It is celebrated by many cultures including the Chinese (Chinese New Year/ Spring Festival), the Vietnamese (Tê’t), the Koreans (Solnal) and the Tibetans (Losar). 

Come celebrate with your hosts, Imelda The and Katherine Biard, and learn about a holiday celebrated by around 2 billion people.  

The kids will do one or two arts and craft and will learn about the holiday before going home with their own hong bao (lucky red envelope).

😷 Note : This event takes place indoors. In accordance with current Covid safety regulations,  all participants over the age of 11 will need to present a valid 'Pass Sanitaire'. Masks will be required for all participants from 6 years and older during the event.
