About the Event
Every year, France celebrates Epiphany by serving Galette des Rois (King Cake), an almond-filled cake in which a fève (small trinket or figurine) is hidden inside the galette.
The rules are simple: the cake is cut and shared between all the guests. The person who finds the fève in their slice becomes king or queen for the day. They even get to wear a paper crown!
Come and find out more about this fun French tradition by joining hosts Rana Chebaro and Katherine Biard for an hour of games and great conversation. To avoid all Covid related contaminations, a little galette for 4 people from the lovely Pachot Bakery in Neuilly-sur-Seine will be offered (free) to each attending family to taste at home. The event itself will be about games and crafts related to the Galette des Rois so that everyone can keep their masks on at all times during…
