Time & Location
05 Oct 2021, 20:30 – 21:35 CEST
About the Event
Based on the past three decades of exciting neuroscience research on music and the brain Joan Koenig will explain how music can supercharge early childhood development and help children thrive.
One does not need to be a professional musician nor a scientist to understand how powerfully musical practice can influence early childhood development; this workshop will deliver practical information and exercises for parents to do at home with their children.
This workshop is ideal for parents of children ages 0-6.
Joan Koenig, founder of l'Ecole Koenig ,is an American-born musician, educator, author, public speaker, mother, creative dervish, and science nerd. To learn more about her latest book, The Musical Child , and her practice please visit the website: https://www.ecolekoenig.com/team/joan-koenig
The Musical Child is "full of sensible ideas to try out on newborn and young...my feeling is that you will probably want Koenig to move in with you!"
