Baby Wearing Workshop: Carrying Little Ones

Are you pregnant or have a small baby you'd like to learn how to carry safely and comfortably in a wrap, sling or carrier? Did you know that babywearing is beneficial not only to the baby being worn but also to the person wearing them? Among the many benefits of baby wearing are having babies cry less (studies have consistently shown that carried babies cry less), and parents and carers having their hands free. With this workshop, you will discover this and more!

This workshop aims to provide parents with information regarding the benefits of safely, comfortably and ergonomically carrying/wearing their babies on their front, as well as practical skills using different types of baby carriers. Parents can come with their own material to learn how to use what they already have or they can use the class to help them to decide what kind of carrier, sling or wrap they would like to invest in. (No affiliation with any particular brand or carrier). Along with practical skills, the workshop will also provide information about the most common carrier types for parents to independently make an informed decision about what is right for their family.

This workshop is open to Message members and non-members alike.  It is also special needs child friendly.
