About the Event
Come join us for an afternoon of multicultural fun! Discover the culture of both the Philippines and Indonesia as we listen to stories, play games, and make art together.
As close neighbors, the Philippines and Indonesia share many historical and cultural links including language, dating back to the 9th century. From this common ancestry is a strong feeling of kinship which has inspired this special storytelling and craft afternoon.
This event is open for children from ages 5 to 12 years old. Parents are required to stay onsite, either with their children in the session or in the café of the Maison d’Indonésie where there will be an Indonesian Food Festival! So please feel free to enjoy the stories of the Philippines and Indonesia or try some food, grab a coffee and mingle with other parents!
