About the Event
Should children be memorising poems? Should children have homework? The teacher says that your child can't sit still - what now?
As a parent you only get snippets of what your child is doing in class, but we can help you analyse what you do know. This is an active workshop that involves a case study, walking through a few examples of high level learning, and answering your questions.
We invite all parents of children from maternelle through lyceé years to participate - as high level learning may look different through the years, but the principles are the same.
You will also discuss some strategies to support teachers to perform at their best.
Send us your questions to talks@messageparis.org beforehand and they could be incorporated into the workshop.
Message Paris is honored to welcome: Emilia Pastor and Jessica Lament, two former teachers, leaders, and now, instructional coaches that support educators to continue to improve their practice.
